Yes. Students can establish online account access for a designed Proxy (parent, legal guardian, or other third-party) to view and print the student's 1098T.
To establish an Authorized Third-party (Proxy), please visit the CougarNet homepage and
- Login
- Select Personal Information
- Select My Profile
- Select Proxy Management - Add authorized third-party (proxy) to selected CougarNet Web pages)
- Select Add New (red '+' sign right side)
- Complete Profile for your new Proxy
- Notes/Tips
- Relationship will typically be Parent or Legal Guardian
- Stop Date defaults to one year
- Additional information
- Description is not required, but advisable to indicate passphrase in the event the Authorized person needs to call. You must share passphrase with your authorized person.
- Authorizations
- Must select Bursar - Tax Notification 1098T for this purpose; however, you can select other access by checking individual boxes or Select All.
- You can edit (add/remove) your permission at any time.
- Once you have completed the Profile will selected access to be granted, click Submit.
The newly authorized proxy will receive three emails to activate their new access. The emails may come out of sequence, please read each message.
- First time login link.
- Temporary password.
- Link to use once new password is established.
