About Dr. Hupp

Stephen Hupp, winner of the Great Teacher Award and the Champion for Diversity Award, is a Professor in the Department of Psychology at SIUE and a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. He obtained his PhD in clinical psychology from Louisiana State University.

Dr. Hupp is a Fellow of the Committee for Skeptical Inquiry and the Editor of Skeptical Inquirer, the Magazine for Science and Reason. Interests include the dissemination of science-based therapy and the promotion of critical thinking. He created an event that led to breaking the Guinness World Record for the “longest line of books” (2017 - 2019) and has published several books about the science of psychology (see below).
