About Mrs. Henderson
Aldara Henderson received her master’s in public health from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Prior to her MPH, Mrs. Henderson received her BA in Anthropology with a minor in Spanish from the University of South Florida. Before becoming an Instructor at SIUE, Mrs. Henderson worked at the St. Clair County Health Department as the Systems Quality Manager. She served as the PHAB accreditation and IPLAN coordinator and had leadership roles in several community health initiatives including the innovative partnership of the hospital systems and health departments to complete an annual joint Community Health Needs Assessment. Mrs. Henderson currently teaches Epidemiology, Research Methods, and Data Analysis in the undergraduate Public Health program. She also serves as the undergraduate Internship Coordinator and the faculty advisor for ESG.
