Applicant must be admitted in a Master's program at SIUE and must be enrolled in a minimum of 6, but no more than 12 credit hours per academic term for fall and spring. Applicant must maintain a 3.0 grade point average. Must possess skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Able to work independently as well as in a team. Must be patient and understanding to work with students of all abilities and learning styles. Willing to meet with students weekly both remotely via ZOOM (at least 2-3 hours) and face-to-face on campus (at least 7-8 hours per week).
Tutor nursing students in pre-clinical and nursing courses. Assist students in enhancing and developing effective learning strategies to improve knowledge, understanding, and application of covered material. Document all tutoring activities of the students and maintain confidentiality. Conduct study groups and one-on- one sessions via majority in - person and limited ZOOM.
