SIUE TRIO Upward Bound Scholars Academy serving Collinsville High School is looking for graduate students who want to mentor high school students during the Summer Academy held on the SIUE campus.
Dates: Summer Staff Onboarding occurs the last two weeks of May. 6-week Summer Academy programming runs from the beginning of June through mid July. Teaching Assistants will work 20 hours per week between 7:30am-4:30pm Monday - Friday.
Responsibilities: Prepare lesson plans and slide presentations for science, math, and engineering/technology classes and electives Prepare lesson plans and slide presentations for college prep, career readiness, and life skills workshops Provide supervision of youth Track program participation Administer assessment tools Administrative duties
