SIUE TRIO Upward Bound Scholars Academy at Collinsville HS is looking for graduate students who want to be a mentor to high school students.
During the academic year, services are provided at Collinsville High School during school hours (9am-3pm) and after school Tuesdays and Thursdays (after 3pm).
Responsibilities: Conduct individual advising sessions with teens Provide tutoring/homework assistance during school hours and after school Prepare lesson plans and facilitate college prep, career readiness and life skills workshops Co-teach high school level academic classes and electives/clubs Track program participation and input advising notes Administer assessment tools Administrative duties Chaperone field trips when needed
