Teaching Assistantship (2462-2025)

Qualifications

 • Must be actively enrolled in a graduate health sciences program at SIUE.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Interest in teaching with technology.

• Interest or experience in teaching information literacy.

• Able to work independently as well as on a team.

• Must be available during morning and afternoon hours during the summer.

• Must be prepared to begin work/training starting May 12th, 2025.

• Must have a reliable way into work.

• Must be flexible with scheduling.

Position Description

Maintain and revise online research guides, providing individualized research assistance to undergraduate and graduate students in the Health Science via phone, email, in-person, via MS Teams or online chat, assisting with the production of information guides and library newsletters to Dental Medicine, Nursing and Pharmacy Faculty & Students, staffing the Biomedical library Information Desk in Alton, other projects and duties as assigned.
