Submit Maintenance Requests
University Housing residents must submit maintenance requests for their living spaces or common areas, such as fitness rooms, hallways or lounges. The University Housing Facilities Management (UHFM) office reviews and processes requests Monday through Friday, between 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. You will receive updates about your request via your SIUE email.
Submit a Routine Maintenance Request
- Connect to campus WiFi or network
- Complete the online form
- Provide details of the request along with a picture
- i.e what needs to be fixed, the location of the request, when issues occurred
Emergencies/After Hours
If you smell gas, experience flooding or encounter any issue that poses immediate danger to people or property, please follow these steps:
- Contact your RA on duty immediately. You can reach them by, contacting your residence hall front desk or the Cougar Village Commons to get the RA on duty.
- Examples of emergency issues: Overflowing toilet, no AC in the summer, no heat in the winter, no hot water, refrigerator not cooling or any serious water leak.
During Business Hours (7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.): Call University Housing Facilities Management at 618-650-3626.
After Hours or Immediate Emergency: Call Campus Police at 618-650-3324 if there is a safety risk.

Laundry: Contact CSC Service Works for Machine Repairs or Clothing Damage. If additional services are needed, submit a request to UHFM.
