The TRIO Upward Bound program is committed to supporting students throughout their high school journey, ensuring they are well-prepared for successful entry into and completion of post-secondary education. Our enrichment activities offer alternative learning experiences beyond the traditional classroom, aiming to be both challenging and rewarding. We strive to address academic and environmental challenges by providing tutorials, classroom instruction, and a variety of educational and cultural activities. Our goal is to deliver engaging, interactive, and project-based experiences that broaden students' perspectives, deepen their appreciation for higher learning, and foster the development of new knowledge and skills.
Goals
TRIO Upward Bound plays a vital role in strengthening the educational pipeline by offering essential support services to middle and high school students. Our objectives include helping students achieve academic success, graduate on time, prepare for college-level coursework, apply to and enroll in post-secondary institutions, and equip them for well-paying careers in high-demand fields.
