Application Information

Thank you for your interest in studying at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville! Admission to the University is a two-step process.

  1. First, you must complete the online application and submit any required supporting academic qualifications for review by the appropriate academic department or office.
  2. Next, after you are approved academically, you will be sent a link that allows you to upload the financial documents needed for SIUE to issue the I-20 or DS-2019 document required for you to request a student visa to study in the U.S.

The requirements necessary to apply for admission vary if you are seeking an undergraduate (bachelor’s) or graduate (master’s or doctoral) degree, or if you wish to come to SIUE as a short-term exchange student. All international students must be able to provide proof of English proficiency, as well as official academic credentials.
